8. The Dragon

Right at the end of the seventh episode, when Danny Rand discovers that the is the key that Alexandra and Elektra seek, we get to see them fighting as Danny absolutely doesn't want to be used as the key to open the door.

He proves this by accidentally punching the door and opening it, because he's a massive idiot, apparently.

Anyway, once he's through the door, he finds the skeleton of a massive dragon, which probably isn't the legendary Shao Lao, because Danny fought him not so long ago, even though Danny overtly accuses Gao of "desecrating Shao Lao". The dragon skeletons are confirmed as belonging to creatures who used to roam K'Un Lun in Gao's youth, as well as being the source of the mysterious material that grants them immortality.

As a nice little Easter Egg, the dragon skeleton we see is shaped in the same formation as Danny's chest tattoo.
