8. Family Relationships
Sons of Anarchy was well-written and loved for the complex family relationships that were involved in such a small club. What was always brought to light in the series’ running was the development of family bonds and relationships – how fragile the ties were and yet how important it was for members to work with them, not against.
Much the same, Sutter incorporates these familiar families into Mayans MC, with characters such as EZ following in his brother’s footsteps (who is seemingly, and almost desperately, watching over and protecting his sibling).
Fans of Sons of Anarchy are able to feel some nostalgia in this, but can also watch with great tension knowing how quickly Mastermind Sutter can destroy such an important aspect of member’s lives. And, oh, how fans just love that drama.
Sutter sure knows how to break fans hearts and leave them hooked, wanting answers of just what could happen to these families, and how they will be broken or made.
