How I Met Your Mother: 5 Great Things From The 200th Episode

how i met your mother This week How I Met Your Mother reached the very difficult milestone of 200 episodes. This feat is incredibly hard for a television show to reach, especially in this age where reaching a third season is an accomplishment in itself. An episode as momentous as a 200th has to be special, honouring everything that came before in a way that is true to both the series and characters within it. How I Met Your Mother's 200th episode, aptly titled 'How Your Mother Met Me', absolutely did just that. For nine long years Carter Bays and Craig Thomas have dangled the questions of who The Mother is and how exactly Ted met her in some entertaining, and often times frustratingly exasperating, ways. With The Mother introduced in the closing moments of Season 8, a lot of expectation was put upon Bays, Thomas and the writing team to make her live up to the hype, but the biggest expectation of all fell onto Cristin Milioti. After all, she had to bring The Mother to life and make audiences fall in love with her, recognizing why out of all the women Ted's dated she would be his one and only. Season 9 has had its ups and downs so far, but 'How Your Mother Met Me' delivered the best episode of the season, arguably the series. Let's take a look at 5 things which made this episode one of How I Met's best.
