3. How The Gang Copes With The Captive Gandia
In flashbacks as the Bank Heist was being planned, the dearly departed Berlin warns The Professor that Gandia, a former Special-Ops security guard at the Bank, would be the biggest threat to the success of the Heist. He proves this beyond a doubt when he escapes the gang in season four, taunting them from a hidden room. He almost kills Helsinki, captures Tokyo, and, in the icing on the cake of tragedy, murders Nairobi.
The gang manage to capture Gandia, and, though they are tempted to kill him in revenge for Nairobi's death, they instead use him as part of the plan to rescue Raquel/Lisbon from the police.
Though they have him restrained for the moment, the gang will still have to deal with Gandia's presence among them in season five. No-one really wants to see Gandia escape again, as that storyline did drag a little. However, having to look Nairobi's killer in the face every day may take an unpleasant mental toll on the gang, particularly Helsinki and Bogota
