Mr. Robot: 10 Best Episodes

With everything going against Elliot during his attempt to stop Stage 2 from happening, the show's fans knew that it was going to take everything to make sure the plan didn't go ahead. However, when the main obstacle stopping Elliot from achieving his goals is himself, it was always going to be a difficult task.

Eps3.5_kill-process.inc carries on straight after eps3.4_runtime-error.r00 and focuses on Elliot's intense battle with his alter-ego, Mr. Robot, to end the threat of Stage 2. Rami Malek does a magnificent job in making the audience believe that he's literally battling for control of his body constantly. It's an incredible performance and really shows why there's no other person who could play Elliot Alderson.

Although Malek's performance is a noteworthy aspect of this show, the best part of this episode is the end. Just as we think that Elliot has saved the day, Sam Esmail throws a spanner in the works that is absolutely shocking. While Elliot is able to stop the New York ECorp facility from being blown up, he doesn't realise that 71 other ECorp buildings have exploded in the meantime. It's a crushing end, just as we got a glimpse of happiness.
