Ms. Marvel: 10 Things You Need To Know About The Disney+ TV Series

9. An All-Star List Of Directors Have Boarded The Series

There were rumblings for a while that Bad Boys for Life directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah were set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, mostly because the filmmakers had confirmed they've met with Marvel Studios. Now, it's been confirmed that they will direct episodes of Ms. Marvel, an unexpected project for the filmmakers, but one that likely points to some big action scenes.

Joining them are two-time Oscar winner Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Meera Menon. The former is known for her critically acclaimed documentary work, while the latter is no stranger to the world of comic books after helming episodes of The Punisher, Titans, and The Walking Dead.

One very interesting unconfirmed rumour is that Captain Marvel directors Ryan Boden and Anna Fleck - who won't be taking the helm of the sequel - are returning to the MCU to help direct episodes of Ms. Marvel. (How much do you want to bet that Carol Danvers appears in whichever instalment they work on?)

Time will tell on that front, but there's no reason to suspect they had a bad time working on Captain Marvel - it grossed over $1 billion worldwide - and Marvel Studios knows they can trust them with helping tell Kamala Khan's story in Ms. Marvel.
