Netflix Marvel Universe: Everything We Know So Far About The Upcoming Shows

1. Daredevil Season 3 Might Finally Give Us Bullseye

Daredevil has given almost everything the character's fans could've wanted so far: a brilliant take on Matt Murdock to make everyone forget about Ben Affleck, an even better take on the villain, Wilson Fisk, a battle with the Punisher, key supporting characters being well-realised, and a lot of darkness and absolutely kick-ass action sequences.

One of the big things missing, so far, is Bullseye. A major Daredevil antagonist, he's got to show up at some point in the show's tenure, and it could even happen in Season 3. On the topic, Charlie Cox said back in November:

“It’s no secret, I’ve said it before and I get in trouble every time I say it, I’d like to see Bullseye make an appearance at some point. I think it’s a really interesting opportunity. Deborah Ann Woll obviously does not want Bullseye to show up for obvious reasons. Elodie Yung, who plays Elektra, doesn’t want Bullseye to show up either."

That tallies with his previous comments, with the actor telling Screen Rant that he "can't imagine doing a run of Daredevil where Bullseye doesn't show up."

There were reportedly discussions about bringing the character into Season 2, with Jason Statham (!) in talks over the role. They eventually fell apart, but it does mean the character is definitely on the horizon.

It of course remains to be seen whether that's actually Season 3 or not, but Cox is surely going to get his way eventually. Daredevil has laid some groundwork for a version of the Born Again storyline, which Bullseye could be worked into, or he could be brought into the series as a threat while Kingpin re-builds his empire.
