Orange Is The New Black: 10 Things We Want In Season 4

Nicki has been something of a firecracker since the very first episode of Orange is The New Black, demonstrating her lust for sex and drugs in practically equal measure along the way. She also has an adorable mother-daughter bond with Red that at times seems to be the only thing that is keeping Nicki stable.

Unfortunately, the taste for drugs overcomes Nicki early on in season 3, after she tries to slip away a small bag of heroin from a batch that she is looking to sell from inside the prison and is promptly snitched on by Luschek, who was in on the whole deal but doesn't want to get into trouble.

That's how one of the most entertaining characters in the show was carted off to max and not heard from - and barely even mentioned again - for the rest of the series.

Apparently nobody ever comes back from max, but the writers need to find a way for Nicki, as she is one of the most popular characters in the show and a welcome salve for the increasingly self-centred nonsense coming from Piper.
