Parks & Recreation Cast: Where Are They Now?
10. Jim O’Heir
Gerald/Jerry/Larry/Terry/Barry Gergich appeared in all but 1 episode of Parks and Recreation. O’Heir’s performance as the down on his luck Jerry was met with positive reception throughout his tenure on the show. The confusion surrounding his first name proved an amusing running gag throughout the series.
As a veteran character actor, O’Heir has enjoyed numerous guest roles in series such as Friends, Malcolm in the Middle and Star Trek: Voyager. Since Parks and Recreation finished, he has continued this trend with guest spots on the likes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Pearson, Bill Nye Saves the World and The Neighbourhood. Since 2019, O’Heir has had a recurring role as Kent, the town vet, on ABC sitcom Bless This Mess.
He has also appeared in several films including heist comedy Logan Lucky and Bad Times at the El Royale. O’Heir won a daytime Emmy in 2017 for his guest appearance in long running soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful. He also appeared in the 2019 Netflix special, The Lonely Island Presents: The Unauthorised Bash Brothers Experience, a baseball focused, self described visual poem about the Oakland Athletics baseball team in the 1980s.
