9. Rob Lowe

The absurdly upbeat health nut they call Chris Traeger was among the series’ most beloved characters. Rob Lowe garnered praise with many citing Traeger as some of the funniest work of Lowe’s career.

A well established star and member of the infamous Brat Pack, Lowe has enjoyed several more leading TV gigs since leaving Parks and Recreation. From 2016 to 2018, he portrayed Dr Ethan Willis, an Army Medical Corps colonel in CBS drama, Code Black. In the wake of Code Black’s cancellation, Lowe moved on to star in 9-1-1: Lone Star, a Texas set 9-1-1 spin-off. The series premiered earlier this year and has been renewed for a season 2.

In 2018, Lowe made his directorial debut with the third film adaptation of William March’s 1954 horror novel, The Bad Seed. Lowe also executive produced and starred in the film as David Grossman, a widower who comes to suspect his daughter is responsible for several deaths of people close to her. The film premiered on Lifetime to middling reviews.

Lowe is also the host of Mental Samurai, a game show focused on testing the wits of its contestants.
