Predicting Marvel's MCU TV Shows
7. A Live-Action Spider-Man TV Series
One thing that's actually interesting to note about the Marvel TV situation is that Marvel Studios have had the rights to make live action Spider-Man series for almost a decade now, ever since Sony renegotiated the use of the character's on-screen rights.
This means that the House of Mouse have the full license to make whatever Spider-Man show they want, even as Sony gear up to make their own film series based on various elements of Spidey's supporting cast. Miles Morales is an obvious contender for a series of his own, and with countless other Spidey characters to draw from too, the opportunity to make a spin-off is there for the taking.
As far as MCU shows go, a Spider-Man one is one of the more unlikely. However, if Marvel wish to take full advantage of his mythos in a different format, then the answer may actually lie in Disney's streaming service. They could get a high school drama of their own, and given the success of shows like Riverdale, wouldn't it be a no-brainer?
