9. Long Way Up
Long Way Up is the continuation of Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman's televised biking trips around the world. Say what you will about how they compare to more seasoned travellers like Clarkson, Hammond and May, but McGregor and Boorman have their own charm as they set off along one of their long journeys.
The first two seasons were big hits, especially in the UK, and this time Apple have backed the pair for another adventure starting in South America and heading for Los Angeles.
Along the way, they encounter the usual bike problems, tough moments, and feeling the touching embrace of male bonding. It's always fun to see two best mates make the best of their situation, especially when they have been as blessed in life as these lads.
Fans of the original series will flock back to this one, and because this was all filmed in 2019, will probably love the electric bikes they do the journey on. As with adding the new bikes to the roster, Apple have refreshed the series for the more modern age.
Overall, fun is had all round and lifted as ever by Ewan McGregor's bubbly personality.
