Ranking Every DCAU Show And Film Worst To Best

11. Justice League Vs. The Fatal Five

Justice League Fatal Five

Justice League vs. The Fatal Five is the latest in the ever-growing collection of DC's original animated movies. This one, however, much like Batman vs. Harley Quinn, just so happened to be in the style of the DCAU. However, unlike that film, it was much more faithful to the series that it followed up (which in this case was Justice League).

The film focused on the arrival of villains (and the hero Star Boy) from the 31st Century, who sought to release one of their own from the planet Oa - and to do that they needed the help of Green Lantern Jessica Cruz. This, of course, all set up a highly-enjoyable confrontation with the Justice League.

Being part of the DCAU, it's no surprise that the film never shied away from tackling something as important as mental health, with Jessica's struggles with anxiety being its most engaging arc. It was also a lot of fun, and wasted no time hitting us with nostalgia in the form of a few cameos from some New Batman Adventures characters, as well as reprises of some of those classic themes.

It wasn't without its drawbacks though, as all of the 31st century characters (especially the Fatal Five) felt somewhat underdeveloped.

In a way, this was essentially just an extended episode of Justice League, but it was a damn good one at that.
