Ranking Every MCU Show From Worst To Best

2. Jessica Jones

MCU TV Shows Ranked
Marvel Television / Netflix

Following Daredevil's debut season wowing audiences six months prior, November 2015 saw Jessica Jones arrive on Netflix.

While Charlie Cox's Hornhead had impressed with his sheer brutality and relentless will to succeed, the Krysten Ritter-headlined Jessica series brought something entirely different to screens. Still retaining the darker edge seen in Daredevil, Jessica Jones explored topics such as PTSD, abusive relationships, addiction, manipulation and sexual assault.

The second and third seasons of Jessica Jones were both great, but that initial season and the haunting figure of David Tennant's Kilgrave stood out as something outstanding. Tennant was magnificent in the role of the Purple Man, but the way he was written to have scarred Jessica made for some tense, gripping and powerful genre TV.

Of all of the MCU shows that have been cancelled in recent years, Jessica Jones is right up there as one of the series that so many are hoping is somehow resurrected down the line. And with Matt Murdock/Daredevil rumoured to have a role in Spider-Man: No Way Home, that offers up a glimmer of hope that we may - just may - see Krysten Ritter's Jessica back in action at some point.
