Seinfeld: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best

Here it is, season 5, the best season of Seinfeld ever.

In reality, it's a close call between seasons 3, 4, and 5 but 5 just makes it out above the other two for one big reason. There are just no weaknesses in this run; where the other two have similar levels of quality, season 5 is the apex of the creative drive and character development. Whilst George Costanza's unemployment draws its laughs throughout the 22 episodes, it's the fully realised and expressive nature of all four main characters that gave season 5 it's crown.

Looking back at the nearly unparalleled brilliance of Seinfeld over the years, season 5 introduces every episode without holding anything back, the reigns were off and every ounce of humour that could be had from each of these characters was had.

From the puffy shirt to Kramer bursting in on Jerry's accountant whilst he was on the toilet, with a camera (After having downed a beer whilst smoking at the same time no less). In terms of the sheer moment for moment laughs, the fifth season is the heavyweight champ.

There is no best episode here as all of them will have their own place in different fans hearts, though, if forced to choose our favourite, it'd be between 'The Marine Biologist' and 'The Puffy Shirt'. Choosing either George Costanza's ruined hand modelling career or his saving of a washed-up whale is just too difficult.
