She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Five Review - 6 Ups & 3 Downs
2. Up - No Post-Credit Scene
The first four episodes of She-Hulk all featured a post-credit sting, and to say they were inconsistent would be a huge understatement. Though Jen’s family life and her twerking with Megan Thee Stallion weren’t great, her asking about Captain America’s sex life and Wong and Madisynn’s new found friendship were wonderful.
Watching through the credits for episode five, there was absolutely no reason not to expect yet another tag. There had been one in every single episode so far, but episode five became the first to simply end after the credits rolled.
This is how the majority of MCU episodes have ended on Disney+, and though at first this writer has to admit he felt a little robbed of more She-Hulk, this was probably the right call to make. After all, there was no real need for a sting as the biggest tease the episode could make came before the credits.
What could possibly have been shown that would have competed with seeing Daredevil’s helmet? This may have got a Down for the fact that Matt Murdoch’s appearance has already been spoiled by the trailers, but it was still a very cool moment that would have made any scene after it redundant.
