She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Nine Review - 8 Ups & 4 Downs
9. Down - An Underwhelming Post-Credit Scene
There have been some great post-credit scenes throughout Marvel Studios’ relatively brief tenure on Disney+ so far. Kamala Khan swapping places with Carol Danvers, the confirmation of Jake Lockley’s existence, and Loki encountering four different versions of himself are all among the best.
Though they haven’t all been winners, Hawkeye could have done better than the full song from Rogers: The Musical, fans had every right to expect something big from the final scene of She-Hulk’s first series. Did they get something that big? The answer is… kinda.
Wong turning up to seemingly take Emil Blonsky to Kamar-Taj on a permanent basis opens plenty of potential doors for the character moving forward. Wong could well be acting as the Nick Fury of the new Avengers, potentially already recruiting a pretty strong line-up, and Abomination’s addition to the ranks alongside the likes of Spider-Man and Shang-Chi could be incredibly fun.
However, this didn’t really feel like an end of series sting, particularly as the Red Hulk tease from just one episode could have been paid off. This scene instead could have been a part of the episode itself, much like Skaar’s introduction, leaving the space open for something bigger. Hell, just swapping those two scenes around would have been better.
