She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Two Review - 7 Ups And 4 Downs
1. Up - Tatiana Maslany
There aren’t many instances of poor casting choices throughout the MCU. The franchise isn’t immune to the odd drop of the ball (whose idea was casting Ray Winstone as a character with a Russian accent, anyway?), but for the most part the casting departments have done exemplary work.
With She-Hulk, this is no different. Over the course of the two episodes so far, Tatiana Maslany has simply shone, and while one wouldn’t go so far as to say she has carried the show, as there are plenty of other strong aspects, she is by far the light that shines the brightest so far.
Her comedic timing is absolutely hilarious, her rant to/at Bruce about asking/telling him about the job was possibly the funniest part of this episode that didn’t reference Ed Norton, and she has already endeared herself to MCU fans and then some.
Already you can feel a real star power to Tatiana Maslany as both Jen Walters and She-Hulk, and there is nothing to stop her becoming one of the biggest draws in the entire franchise. Phase Four has largely been about the injection of new blood in the franchise, and Maslany is the perfect advert as to why.
