6. Hans Moleman
Hans Moleman has been living in Springfield since the second season of The Simpsons hit screens back in 1991, and since then his luck has been rotten to say the least. The character has had many presumably near-death experiences already which include having Mr. Burns take an electric drill to his brain and several unfortunate car accidents, leaving me asking - is it time to put him out of his misery? Additionally, his body must be in a critical state not just because of his many accidents, but also because of his apparent alcohol abuse. That's right, Moleman has been on the sauce as well, claiming in one episode that he's 31 years old and only looks the way he does due to his heavy drinking. This may be a lie, but if its true then Moleman's body must already be in a state of shut-down. The only reason I can think of as to why they wouldn't kill Moleman may sound silly on the surface, but really - what would be the point? The character has no strong ties to any of the main characters, and plays no significant role in the town of Springfield. Therefore, what the writers would be doing is killing off a character who has proven to be good at personifying bad luck - and in the process creating some classic Simpsons moments.
