The Simpsons: 10 Throwaway Lines That Would Have Made Great Episodes

3. What Have You Done With The Real Moe?

Moe Like Groundskeeper Willie, Moe has a mysterious and constantly changing past that has seen him being of both Italian and Dutch descent, be abandoned by his parents at a summer camp, box under the name Kid Moe (demoted from Gorgeous, Presentable and Gruesome after too many shots to the face). He has hidden several animals in his bar, which with the pull of a lever can become a pet shop and/or casino, has enjoyed additional careers as a bookie, loan shark, surgeon, restaurateur, and an original cast member of the Little Rascals. And once, he kept a hostage (who sounded a lot like Hans Moleman) underneath his floorboards. While all of those could be great potential episodes, our pick for most interesting glossed over premise came in "Marge Gamer" where Moe offers Homer and Bart great advice on how to deal with their family conflicts. Surprised that Moe has a sensitive side and knack for solving problems, Homer asks what he was done with the real Moe? All three share a laugh while we pan into the back room where the real Moe is in fact tied to a chair with his mouth gagged. We can only imagine what was going on in that episode and most importantly, we want to know if this doppelganger has been around the entire time.

As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG. I may have a problem! But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
