The Simpsons: 20 Greatest Couch Gags

12. Robot Chicken

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNdNLNFZBmk We've already touched upon Guillermo del Toro stepping in to direct his own 'couch gag' (more on him later) but he's not the only one to have tried their hand at a gag outside the Simpson's production team. Here, we see a couch gag animated in stop motion by the Robot Chicken team, with Springfield, and Homer, presented in plastic form. Homer appears as an action figure, much to his horror, until he realises he can shoot his fist at people after killing Ned. Homer is especially thrilled when he realises he can also activate "pastry power" and transforms into a huge, rolling doughnut, running over Agnes Skinner, Sideshow Bob, Duffman, Martin Prince and Mr. Burns in a rampage. Later, after being strapped down to their couch, The Simpsons watch Robot Chicken, before the actual Robot Chicken turns "The Simpsons" on. Homer angrily requests that he "Put the "Chicken One" back on.
