1. Setting Their Sights On The Deadliest Man In The Streets
August Marks has always carried himself like a businessman who is more than capable of dipping his feet into the gutter to make his point, and in episode three he made sure Jax understood that he differed from his predecessor Damon Pope in the sense that he was far more deadly. When he looked Jax in the eyes and told him he had no remorse about killing him, that fuse inside this new unhinged Jackson Teller ignited and he marked August as another enemy to be disposed of. This is even more ambitious than disposing of Pope, because its happening at the same time theyre building toward a war with the Triad and the Mayans. Although, for the first time this season, it feels like Jax at least has the makings of a plan forming, and his intentions are to have Marks and Lin wipe each other off the map. Normally that would be a safe bet for how things will play out, but with this being the final season, thats far from a sure thing. Knowing Kurt Sutter, its unlikely this will be wrapped up with few casualties like the Cartel, Irish and Aryan problems were, and were probably going to see the bodies pile up on both sides of the street before its all said and done. For us fans, thats what keeps us strapped in for the ride.
