Sons Of Anarchy: 10 Best Forest Rangers Songs

1. Come Join The Murder - The White Buffalo & The Forest Rangers

There was only ever going to be one song coming out on top here, and I think we all knew that coming in.

If a song could've been perfectly written to end a series as epic as Sons of Anarchy, then this would be that song. Thankfully we have Kurt Sutter living amongst us mortals, and he gave us both Sons of Anarchy and this amazing, beautiful song.

With a slow build that gradually adds to the sound with every chorus, adding extra guitars, drums, backing vocals and then a choir combining them all in the final two choruses into a climactic crescendo of musical excellence.

I personally don't know of any fan of Sons of Anarchy who doesn't like this song. Whenever I speak to someone about it all the can say is how they either fought back tears watching the conclusion to the story or openly wept at the emotion that they felt watching the final chapter. Either way, this song is written to draw the most primal emotive response from the listener and I love it every single time. For me anytime you include the chords F and C in a chorus it just screams sadness and emotion, maybe I'm the only one there.

As Jax wheels away having left the club in the hands of Chibs, as a Scotsman, one of my favourite overall characters, we have no idea how his story will end. Sure, we all have an inclination that it's going to go a certain way, but I know I wasn't prepared for how it went down, similarly like his father before him.

All Jax wanted to do was escape the clutches of Charming and SAMCRO to leave a better life for his boys and his wife. He never got the chance, losing his wife to Charming, his sons ending up with Wendy and Nero, albeit with a better life, in the long run, no doubt, but we all wanted a happy ending for Jax, maybe, in the end, he got his happy ending, going back to his wife and his father, but we can't help but feel for him, overall one of the most tragic characters I've ever loved. So it's fitting that the swan song is one of deep emotion and meaning, and one that we as fans can cherish forever
