2. Otto Delaney
Otto Delaney, played by writer/director Kurt Sutter, is one of the most unstable people the Sons of Anarchy universe has known.
Otto, sometimes referred to as 'Big Otto', has been incarcerated in his entire run in the show for second-degree murder and grand theft, although he is eventually given the death sentence for the crimes he has committed for the club on the inside.
He is repeatedly pushed by different federal agents to turn on the club with his wife, Luann, often used as leverage.
His loyalty remains strong until the circumstances leading up to Luann's death are revealed.
After he discovers that Bobby had been sleeping with his wife, Potter manages to finally get Otto to turn on the club by convincing him that Bobby could have been the one that killed her.
Tara visits Stockton multiple times in an attempt to get Otto to reverse his statement. Eventually, he concedes before stabbing a nurse to death, implicating Tara in a murder.

The nurse was the sister of Lee Toric, a former US Marshall, who savagely punishes Otto for the entirety of season 5, having him beaten and raped every day.
Eventually, Otto breaks free and murders Toric, allowing himself to be gunned down my prison officers in the process, ending his suffering.
