Star Trek: 10 MORE Characters Permanently Displaced In Time
8. Yor
Poor, sweet Yor.
This Betelgeusean time soldier crossed timelines and universes to see the bright and shiny Prime Universe and suffered horribly for his efforts. He is the example that Dr. Kovich offers to Dr. Culber as they discuss Georgiou's declining health.
Yor traveled from the year 2379, having nabbed a 2364 Starfleet uniform somewhere along the way, while also hopping across dimensions. He is the first confirmed resident of the Kelvin Universe to appear in the Prime one, which not only confirms its existence in canon but also negates the chance of a proposed fourth film ever crossing back over.
Unfortunately for Yor, he arrived after a set of laws had been drafted absolutely forbidding the use of time travel. His molecules began to pull themselves apart, attempting to return to either his time or dimension, causing him immense pain. With no possibility of being sent home, his doctors successfully petitioned for euthanasia, as it was the kinder offer.
Though Yor traveled much further in time than Spock did, one has to wonder if that too was the fate of the universe's most famous Vulcan.
