Star Trek: 10 Most Controversial Episodes Of All Time

3. Star Trek: Voyager, "Threshold" - The Bad One

trekcontr08 Another word about canon. Sometimes it gets a mind of it's own and you can no longer control it. Don't believe me? go look at the canon guidelines for Star War's Wookiepedia. Shocking, right? now let's imagine that your franchise has produced an episode that is so egregiously bad that some of the people involved with it's production thought that it wasn't canon. That goes beyond the arbitrary removal of secondary works like in the Star Wars universe, that means that everyone involved believed that it was inherently flawed. This episode went beyond bad television to create something that no one could make sense of. That being said, this was the third-most watched episode of the second season. We may have found the origin point for an entire generation of hate-watchers.
