Star Trek: 10 Riker Romances That Were A TOTAL Security Risk

4. Who Do You Think You Are?

When the crew of the Enterprise lose their memories in Conundrum, they can only guess as to who they are and what they're doing. A little investigating later, they've found their names and positions on file, including one Commander MacDuff who they believe to be first officer, pushing Riker down to second officer. They also discover false records that state they're at war with the Lysians and on a crucial mission to destroy their central command.

And yet, Riker's still at it.

Now, let's talk about Riker and Ro for a second, because there are plenty of fans who felt some sparks flying between them. And this episode opens with a great example of them getting heated in the turbolift. Yes, it's foreshadowing what will happen later, but it's still very much appreciated by the Roker shippers.

That doesn't excuse what happens, though. Memory or no memory, they all think they're in the middle of a war.

Despite that, one minute, Riker's getting friendly with Deanna, the next, he's getting it on with Ro. Not content with that, he later goes back to sweet-talking Deanna, only to be interrupted by Ro to pick up where they left off.

What is going on? They've lost their memories; they think they're at war, in the middle of a vital operation no less...and yet, the Enterprise becomes The Love Boat. It's truly bizarre.

Of course, memories return, things get awkward, and Riker and Ro go back to being nothing but a fabled ship. But if ever we needed to know what Riker would be up to with fewer inhibitions, this gives us a pretty good idea.

One thing's for sure: they picked the right title for the episode.
