Star Trek: 10 Times The Ship Was Stolen

5. Positively Green With Ship Envy

Star Trek Discovery Osyrra

In truth, the Emerald Chain were never our favourite villains here. Though Osyrra was definitely high on the moustache-twirling villainy scale, they were simply too vague of a threat to get a grasp on. Then, speaking of getting a grasp, they take over Discovery with less effort than it takes me to make a cup of tea.

It was a bit flat. Having said that, Osyrra finds herself in the captain's chair, who that week had been held by none other than poor Tilly. There followed a massive battle between the Discovery and Starfleet, which seemed to be headed for the former's destruction.

Thankfully, Osyrra had bitten off more than she could chew this time. This was, after all, the ship with the magic turboshafts - the null space between them could house armies of Starfleet officers, ready to retake the ship. In the end, Burnham herself dispatches the lady in green, while the rest of the crew battle the Emerald Chain soldiers. Outside the ship, Kayla Detmer displays some fancy flying, dealing several crippling blows to the Viridian in waiting.
