4. It's The Auld Angel Pirate Life For Me
Captain Angel really did a number on the crew of the USS Enterprise, using more than just the usual trickery to gain control of the Federation flagship. They posed as a counsellor who was assigned for transport to the vessel, while also offering false advice on the pirate ship The Serene Squall.
They managed to earn the trust of most of the crew, Spock included, which certainly led to a stinging betrayal once they showed their true colours. While the Enterprise dealt with this, Pike, M'Benga, Una, and Ortegas were trapped aboard the pirate ship, casually inciting mutiny as a means of escape.
With some dramatic effect by Spock, Chapel, and T'Pring, the Enterprise is eventually retaken - with a little help from a prematurely liberated Serene Squall - though Captain Angel does escape - presumably off to continue the attempts at rescuing their imprisoned lover, a certain Vulcan named Sybok...
