Star Trek: 10 Worst Things Worf Has Ever Done

Star Trek The Next Generation All Good Things Worf And Troi

To be fair to Worf, seven years is a long time on a starship, and these two officers worked closely together for at least some of that time. Perhaps it was inevitable for them to develop feelings for each other. However, while one should never compare one relationship to another, we're going to anyway.

Nothing about Worf and Troi ever worked. It felt rather forced in the closing moments of The Next Generation's final season, adding a layer that didn't really feel had been present before. While it helped to add drama to ...All Good Things, that is really all it did.

Eye Of The Beholder portrays, via Deanna's hallunications, some truly horrid depictions of Worf. This is of course unfair to put on him, yet was emblematic of how strange this pairing was. When Worf and Jadzia met over on Deep Space Nine, it was a far more fitting match. Though Worf didn't need a Klingon partner exactly, he certainly needed someone who was more engaged in Klingon culture. That simply wasn't Troi.

Pairing them up was an odd choice - though not perhaps as odd as Seven of Nine and Chakotay - but did give us that hilarious reunion on the Shrike some thirty years later.
