Star Trek: 6 Things To Expect In An Upcoming Pike Prequel Series

1. Familiar faces

Along with Pike, Spock and Number One, there are other faces in the canon that could potentially appear.

T'Pol had, by the final season of Enterprise, become one of the stronger characters on the show and her study of the Kir'shara was taking her in a new direction. Her final scenes with Trip over their baby's death were heartbreaking. Jolene Blalock has not appeared at almost any convention nor given many interviews about her time on the show, but her character was such an integral part of the founding of the Federation that it would be an excellent chance to revisit her story, thanks to her Vulcan-gifted long lifespan.

Likewise, there is the opportunity in any new series to join the many iterations of Trek together. But when all is said and done, the chemistry of Anson Mount, Ethan Peck and Rebecca Romijn was so instant, so palpable through the screen that even just getting more opportunity to see three of them in action together on the bridge of the Enterprise would speed the show along into a new direction.

As of writing this article, the show has yet to be confirmed but if the fans have been heard, it is hopefully just a matter of time!
