8. A Library Of Episodes

Although Captain Georgiou departed our screens at the end of the second episode, it's clear for all to see that Michelle Yeoh had a blast in the role. To make things even better, her office is adorned with little references to classic Trek, with her library taking centre stage for one shot in the pilot.

Her bookshelf, captured in the tweet above, is filled with titles of classic TOS episodes, including The Trouble with Tribbles, The City on the Edge of Forever and, of course, Balance of Terror. It's a neat little reference that only eagle-eyed viewers will be able to spot, but one that all Trek fans will be able to appreciate, especially since the Tribbles get a shout.

Speaking of Tribbles, surely they're due another live action appearance? We saw them (briefly) in Star Trek: Into Darkness, and it'd be great to see the fluffy aliens return for a spot on Discovery.
