Star Trek: Discovery 3.3 Review - Ups And Downs From People Of Earth

6. Tilly And Stamets - UP

Star Trek Stamets And Tilly
CBS

Mary Wiseman continues to shine in this episode, this time in her interaction with Anthony Rapp. Tilly and Stamets have settled into a great double-act. Stamets seems to be improving week by week (thanks in no small part to the reconcilliation with Culber, we assume) and is becoming more comfortable.

The pair of them correctly rile at Adira's interferance in the spore drive, yet they also quickly discover that all is not as it seems with the young officer. They begin to devise ways of getting the truth out of them.

Tilly suggests a tactic that Stamets would be familiar with, and something all teenagers would know about (according to her) - just give them lots of mushrooms!

Stamets looks her dead in the eye as asks 'Who Are You?'

It is a great moment, going further to solidify the team building between them.
