Star Wars: 10 Classic Characters Returning To TV
5. Darth Vader
Now this is exciting.
Perhaps the most iconic villain in movie history, seeing more Darth Vader is never a bad thing, and his surprise appearances in the likes of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars Rebels, and The Clone Wars were a real treat. However, Obi-Wan Kenobi will seemingly give the Sith Lord a leading role, as the show reportedly has a surprising premise.
Reliable sources have revealed that much of this Disney+ TV series will focus on Vader's hunt for his former Master, and while it seems unlikely they will actually cross paths, there are ways that could happen without screwing up their interaction in A New Hope.
Regardless, catching up with Vader during this period - where he was getting used to his new appearance after Anakin Skywalker's "death" - is something every Star Wars fan will want to learn more about, particularly as it's a time which has only ever really been addressed in comic books and novels. It obviously goes without saying that Lucasfilm needs to bring back James Earl Jones, of course!
