Star Wars: 10 Things That Need To Happen In Andor
8. A Morally Grey Collection Of Central Figures
Perhaps the major element that made Rogue One such a captivating story to behold out of the gates was the reality of this being something of an uncertain time in this galaxy far, far away, with The Empire's grip on hope tightening by the year forcing those who would usually be perceived as the humble underdogs to reach down deep and tap into much darker parts of their being in order to survive to see the next twin-sunrise.
This was never more prevalent than in the introduction to Andor himself during that 2016 flick, with Cassian gunning down an apparent ally the minute it became clear he could threaten his chances of fleeing Imperial Forces.
So, you have to imagine that the version of Diego Luna's titular anti-hero fans discover some five-years before the events of Rogue One will be even quicker to pull the trigger should he sense his life is in danger, with a great many of the other personalities no doubt being brought to the table likely taking up residence in the greyer areas of morality throughout the show, too.
With Rogue One sitting as one of the most unfiltered and uncompromising looks at the desperation brought about by this tyrannical rule of The Emperor yet, Andor looks primed to deliver a more adult take on life as a Rebellious soul at this point in the timeline.
