Star Wars: 10 Things That Need To Happen In Andor

7. A Grounded Fight Against Oppression

Keeping with the idea of the Galactic Empire's reign oppressing millions across the galaxy around the time Andor is set to blast onto our screens, despite the show boasting perhaps one of the biggest collections of actors and extras ever committed to a small screen endeavour, the concept of this early stage of no doubt out-gunned Rebellion beginning to push back against the all-encompassing big bad definitely lends itself to a much more grounded narrative.

Whereas the likes of the Skywalker Saga has often thrown fans straight into the thick of pulsating and effects-heavy inter-galactic skirmishes as The Republic attempted to stave off the droid-boasting Separatists and The Resistance went to war with a frankly ridiculous amount of Final Order star destroyers on Exegol, some of the strongest elements of Disney's TV Star Wars adventures to date have involved the galaxy's favourite faces overcoming the odds on a much smaller scale.

Seen in the likes of The Mandalorian season one finale involving Mando and the gang trying to survive being pinned down by Moff Gideon and his troops, for example, Tony Gilroy and his team would be wise to stick with the emotion and drama found on the ground when fighting the good fight here and not blowing his budget on relentless deep-space battles and animated side-players.
