Star Wars: The Bad Batch - 10 Unresolved Plot Points It Must Answer
1. Bad Batch In The Larger Star Wars Universe
While Lucasfilm and Disney have announced several standalone projects in the works, it goes without saying that sooner or later these properties become connected.
Just like with Marvel movies, there is a certain level of fan expectation when it comes to Easter eggs, references, or even just guest appearances. The Mandalorian was a great example of a standalone show with only a few cheeky hints at the larger universe. Things quickly changed in season two when Mando got himself involved with the big leagues of the Skywalker Saga, many of which come directly from Star Wars Rebels.
At some point in the show, it will need to acknowledge the bigger picture and where the Bad Batch fits into it. The possibilities are endless though - from the Bad Batch helping to remove Wolffe and Gregor's chips to them being the ones to save Grogu from the Jedi temple.
Anything and everything, however unlikely, is on the cards.
