Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Every Main Character Ranked Worst To Best

11. Count Dooku

Despite being played by Christopher Lee in the prequel trilogy, Count Dooku always felt like nothing more than one big plot device, used to signal Anakin's eventual fall to the Dark Side and give the droid army some leadership outside of the hidden influence of Palpatine.

But then came The Clone Wars, injecting some much-needed excitement, complexity and action to the all-powerful Sith Lord.

With a booming voice provided by Corey Burton and striking character design, Dooku acts as the main antagonist of the series, frequently clashing with Obi-Wan and Anakin whilst leading his Separatist forces into countless battles.

We also get the chance to see Dooku's relationship with Palpatine and his involvement in the looming event of Order 66, and are given startling insight into his desire for power and hopes to one day overthrow his much more powerful master.

Prequel Dooku was cool but underused, but The Clone Wars makes him nothing short of one of the franchise's most intriguing and important figures.
