Stranger Things 3 Trailer Breakdown: 13 Things You Need To See

8. STEVE!

Stranger Things 3 Eleven
Netflix

Babysitter Steve is back and he's better than ever.

The character may have started as a fairly stock and generic secondary, human antagonist in season 1 but he's since become so much more. Season 2 saw him developing as a character, helping Dustin find Dart after he escaped, and even playing a major part in the big battle at the end. He became a hero in his own right, Dustin's new best friend and role model, and a new fan favorite.

So it is absolutely wonderful to see him back and still being so thoroughly the Steve we all came to know and love. Whether he's enduring questioning from co-workers at the ice cream parlor about why he hangs out with so many kids, playing air-lightsabers with Dustin, or showing up with bruises all over his face in the big group shot at the end of the trailer, he's just so happy about it, all while the show continues to develop his character.

Welcome back, Babysitter Steve. We missed you most of all.
