Stranger Things Season 2: Everything We Know So Far
Prepare for Things to get even Stranger.
Some doors can't be closed.
This year we are going back to Hawkins, Indiana, and back to the mysterious world of the Upside Down, with Stranger Things returning in just a few months time.
The Netflix series was the buzziest new show of 2016 (and one of the best), a burst of nostalgia in the middle of summer that captured the hearts and minds of fans across the globe, plunging us into a world at once familiar (thanks to its Spielberg-meets-King-meets-Carpenter vibe) and, well, rather strange too.
Now that the show is a certified phenomenon, hype for the second season has skyrocketed, and so too has security: the showrunners have went as far as consulting with Game of Thrones staff on how to prevent leaks.
Even with that level of secrecy, though, there's plenty that they have been happy to reveal in order to build anticipation for the series' return. A first teaser surprisingly dropped at the Super Bowl, and the Duffers and co have given a number of interviews since Season 1 ended, all of which paint a picture of the things to come: exciting, darker, and, yes, Stranger.
