Stranger Things Season 3: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
12. Murray Bauman
We were all a little sceptical of Murray Bauman when he first showed up in Season 2 (seriously who wouldn't be?), but he quickly grew on us, so much so that fans were thrilled to hear that Brett Gelmen would be returning for Season 3.
If we took anything away from the character's screentime in the second season, it was that he was remarkably good at two things: conspiracy theories and relationship advice. Well, thankfully, he got to showcase it all again in the third.
Gelmen was more eccentric than ever, as Murray served his purpose beautifully, attempting to help Hopper and Joyce figure out what the Russians were doing in Hawkins and, of course, handed them some deep insight into their own personal lives when doing so. That said, it was the surprising friendship he formed with Alexei that became one of the season's most endearing aspects, and it even allowed him to overcome his reclusiveness. Progress.
