To all of you out there sipping on hater aid, still whinging about her miming the national anthem, have a listen to this performance. 8 songs, 100% live for 12 minutes and not one note out of tune. She may have lip synced the national anthem, but this show proved once and for all that Beyonce has some killer pipes. But we knew that already, some people are just mean. Last year Madonna's performance was admirable. It was atheistically pleasing and promoted her almost super human flexibility and fitness for a woman her age. But she had playback and lip synced for the entire set. Didn't since live ONCE. This is where Beyonce goes from amazing to sensational, because she stole the show with the help of what is organically produced in the moment. What a novel idea, aye? This is what sets Beyonce apart from other loved singers. There is a beautiful and timeless talent within her and she isn't afraid to unleash her true ability when she is on stage. Combining the high energy choreography with the glaring oppression of stage lights and background screens, it is an achievement in itself to even draw breath.
