Superbowl XLVII: 5 Reasons Beyonce Stole The Show

Keep Calm & Fan Girl at Destiny's Child. When Kelly Rowland popped out of that toaster, I squealed. Just a little bit, nothing over the top or anything. But there is nothing more exciting when something from your past reappears in such an unapologetic manner. Officially Destiny's Child have been separated since 2006, so this marks the end of a 7 year hiatus from the group. They began the performance with mega hits "Bootylicious" and "Independent Woman", which had everyone partying like it was 2001. They ended their brief reappearance with a Destiny's Child version of "Single Ladies" which was just too great for words. For pop music fans it was quite a moment and will be a big boost for their new compilation album "Love Songs" that was recently released. In fact have a look on American iTunes, Beyonce and Destiny's Child tracks are soaring up the charts. I guess 100 million viewers is a perfect shot in the arm for music sales. As a side note, Kelly and Michelle looked the part and slipped back into the back-up-singer roles pretty naturally. But did anyone else think their microphones were a little bit quieter than Beyonce's, or was that just me?
