7. Down - Wonky Special Effects

Ok, yeah, it's a TV show, and unless it's something like Game of Thrones it probably isn't going to have really great special effects. But even still, at times during this episode they really weren't good enough. Credit to them for trying, and a few moments are fine, but the bits where Kara's flying, and the fight scene with her aunt Astra, it basically just looks like people suspended on wires. It doesn't ruin the enjoyment of the episode as such, but it is noticeable and a little distracting. Hopefully it's something they will get better at going forwards, and they can look at similar shows such as The Flash - which has the same people working on it - for how to do effects without the need for a huge budget.
