Supernatural: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best
10. Season Fifteen
There was a lot riding on Supernatural's final season. The show had been on the go for so long and amassed such a vast following that it had to go all-out in order to do its fandom proud. And, all told, it did. Season fifteen serves as a fitting farewell to the beloved Winchester Brothers, culminating in a stand against Chuck (God) and a finale that takes the Six Feet Under way out and kills off everyone in poignant and moving fashion.
Tying up all the loose ends left in the wake of the previous fourteen seasons, the final chapter in Sam and Dean's journey is not quite as bombastic as what came before, but is just as emotional and well-crafted as the show's strongest moments.
The gut-punch ending was in-keeping with the emotional core of the show, and despite this being the brothers' last ride, it still kept up its monster-of-the-week focus throughout the season, reminding fans of just how good the show can be when it's stripped down to basics. A fitting if divisive ending, Supernatural's swan song is a clever and heartfelt send-off to the beloved characters.
Could have done with Castiel in the finale, mind...
