Howard Wolowitz and Leonard Hofstadter one day made a pact that would change the other's life. The decided that if one got a girlfriend then they would be obligated to set the other up with one of her friends.

After ages of loving her from a distance, Leonard finally began dating his dream girl Penny. it was at this point Howard pointed out that Leonard should help him get a date with Penny's friend from The Cheesecake Factory, Bernadette.

Although Penny was reluctant at first, given the way Howard's advances on her had made her uncomfortable, she eventually agreed. It turned out to be a match made in heaven. It turned out microbiologist Bernie couldn't help but find Howard charming and funny.

Eventually both couples would find their happily ever after together by settling down and even having children of their own.
