9. Details Of The Rings In The Premiere
The real cliffhanger at the very end of the episode saw a glum Sheldon consult the expert Gollum statue on what the best course of action was for an engagement ring hed secretly bought, with the intention of asking Amy to marry him rather imminently.
It has been announced that details of the ring will emerge in the Season 9 Premiere. This means that the origin story for the ring will be shown, and the scenario of Sheldon at a jewellery store is simply too big an opportunity to miss. There may well be some sort of flashback for this. Also, the fact that details will emerge suggests that somebody has asked him about the situation.
This wont remain an underlying secret, the group will realise the situation soon enough.
