The Flash: 10 Biggest Questions We Have For Season 6
6. Can Barry Be Saved From The Crisis?
Ever since The Flash first hit our screens back in 2014, fans have been well-aware of the fact that a Crisis is coming. The reason that we all had such extensive knowledge on the future, however, was down to that recurring Central City Citizen newspaper from 2024 which revealed that the Scarlet Speedster is due to go missing in that very year.
A linchpin of sorts for the series, the newspaper has been at the root of the story and, every so often returns to the forefront as Team Flash attempt to come up with new ways of saving Barry from vanishing. Even Nora used it as a catalyst for her mission to alter the timeline and, although she came close, she wasn't able to change her father's fate... or was she?
As it currently stands, Barry Allen is set to sacrifice himself in the Crisis so that everyone else may live but, even though Eobard Thawne is convinced that he can't be saved, it's looking like somebody else may be set to take his place in the game-changing event. That's right, with the Crisis on the horizon, Oliver Queen has teamed up with The Monitor (promising to give up his own life so that Earth's greater heroes can live) in a bid to battle what's coming and, if it all goes down the way it looks like it's going to, it's possible that the Green Arrow could end up vanishing instead.
Arrow is due to end this season while The Flash will continue on and, given that we already know the fate that awaits Oliver, Barry Allen will live to run another day.
It looks like Nora's timeline-changing may have worked after all.
