7. Keep Exploring Barrys Life Outside Of The Flash
After the rocky road Barry had while dating Patty earlier this season, no one is in a rush to throw him back into the dating scene. That said, the hints at an eventual relationship with Iris have been handled well so far. Its reminded us that Barry still has a personal life without overwhelming his heroic efforts with petty personal problems. Its a delicate balance to strike and The Flash has done an admirable job of this so far. Beyond his love life, its good to see Barry at work too. Though since its usually just to forward the plot with some investigation into a metahuman, it would be a fun twist if once in a while he would just work on something boring to show how liberating the rush of being The Flash is. And how about an appearance from his dad? After saving him was such a focus of last season, it would be nice to be reminded of the importance that Henry Allen has in his life. Maintaining little details like this is what is going to distinguish Barry Allen as a fully-formed, relatable character.
