The Flash: 8 Craziest (And Most Believable) Reverse-Flash Theories

4. He's Hunter Zolomon

Hunter Zolomon makes sense for a number of reasons. This version of Reverse-Flash is tied closely to Wally West, but as this series is very much Barry Allen's story, that obviously won't be the case. Some of the similarities between Zolomon and Wells are startling though. For example, he too was left paralysed by an accident (as Wells claims to be) and his speed powers are actually a result of time travel, not the Speed Force. That just gives the effect that he has super speed when he is in reality just slowing time down around him. It also explains why the Reverse-Flash introduced in the midseason finale was so much quicker than Barry Allen and how he appeared to be in two places at once when Wells was confronted by the villain. It doesn't explain Wells' recent mention of the Speed Force though, so that's a major hole in this theory as of right now. Going back to the comic book Zolomon, another interesting trait that he shares with Wells is that he wants to help The Flash become a better version of himself. If this is The Flash's Reverse-Flash, they're making a lot of changes to the comic books and establishing a very different Hunter Zolomon/Harrison Wells mashup, but this so far appears to be the most likely explanation if Wells does indeed have another alter-ego.
